These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Shelf ("the App"), a strength-training
app provided by us ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading or using Shelf, you agree
to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
These Terms supplement Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA).
If these Terms conflict with Apple's standard EULA, Apple's standard EULA controls.
1. License
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license
to use Shelf for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these
Terms and the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell,
reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the App except as permitted by law.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Shelf. By using the App, you confirm that you
meet this requirement and that the information you provide during setup is accurate.
3. Health and fitness disclaimer
Shelf is not a medical service and does not provide medical advice. The training
programs, recommendations, and progression suggestions in the App are for general
informational and educational purposes only.
- Consult a qualified physician or healthcare professional before beginning any
exercise program, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, are injured, or have any concerns about your health.
- You are solely responsible for exercising safely and within your own limits.
You assume all risk of injury arising from your use of the App and the
activities it suggests.
- Stop exercising and seek medical attention if you experience pain, dizziness, or discomfort.
4. Subscriptions
Shelf offers access to its features through an auto-renewable subscription,
available in weekly and yearly plans. The following terms apply:
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-renewal: Your subscription automatically renews for the same period unless
you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your
account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current
period.
- Pricing: Prices are shown in the App before purchase and may vary by region.
Any price changes will be handled in accordance with App Store rules.
- Managing and cancelling: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time
in your Apple Account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). You may also
use the "Manage Subscription" option within the App.
- Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's policies. We do not
process payments directly and generally cannot issue refunds ourselves.
