This Privacy Policy explains how Shelf ("the App," "we," "us," or "our") handles your information.

By using Shelf, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information stored on your device

When you set up and use Shelf, you may provide or generate the following, which is stored locally on your device only (using Apple's on-device storage):

• Profile details: your name, age, height, weight, and measurement preferences.
• Training preferences: your goals, focus areas, available equipment, experience level, and number of training days.
• Workout activity: logged sets, reps, weights, personal records, body measurements, and program/schedule data.
• Progress photos: any photos you choose to add from your photo library.

This information stays on your device. We have no ability to access, view, or retrieve it. If you back up your device to iCloud, your device backup may include this data under Apple's privacy terms — Shelf itself does not transmit it.

Progress photos

When you add a progress photo, Shelf uses Apple's system photo picker. The App only receives the specific image you select; it does not get access to your full photo library. Selected photos are stored locally within the App and are never uploaded to us or to any third party. You can delete any photo at any time from within the App.

2. Information processed by third parties

To offer subscriptions, a limited amount of information is handled by the following services when the App checks your subscription status, loads subscription offers, or handles a purchase or restore:

• Apple (App Store / StoreKit): All payments are processed by Apple. We never receive or store your payment-card details. Apple's handling of your information is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy.
• RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to manage and verify subscriptions. RevenueCat processes a randomly generated app user identifier and your purchase/transaction details (such as which subscription you bought and its status). This is used to manage your subscription, verify access to paid features, prevent purchase fraud, and provide subscription analytics. RevenueCat's handling of this information is governed by the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.

We do not combine this purchase information with the personal fitness data stored on your device, and it does not identify you by name.

3. What we do NOT do

• We do not collect or store your data on our own servers (we don't operate any).
